Jules Gulon is a record producer, mix engineer, recording engineer and editor based in London. Originally from France, his ever-growing interest for crafting music led him to cut his teeth across the Channel. In his first few years here, Jules played in rock bands, and started honing his Pro Tools and production chops, by recording as many artists as he could amongst his own niche community of musicians and collaborators.
These formative experiences allowed Jules to get his foot in the door at The Pierce Rooms, currently the home to the accomplished engineers Steve Fitzmaurice and Darren Heelis. For a time, he shadowed these talented minds, before progressing to acting as an assistant on major projects across prestigious London commercial studios. This was an immense opportunity, which he took to sharpen his mixing skills under the wings of some of the best experts in the UK industry. At that time, engineers and producers began taking an interest in Jules’ abilities, and began requesting him for various projects that needed his own specialist skills.
Just a few years into his career, Jules has become an accomplished mixer and an expert editor. Whether he's engineering on studio records, editing or mixing original content for Vevo, or producing and mixing projects in his own right; Jules has proved himself a valuable asset to any production team. As a very promising professional in the music industry, Jules is always eager to contribute to songs in the making, collaborate with amazing artists and musicians, and refine his talents.
